Post Pineapple

We saw freezing levels rise to around 1900m late yesterday with the passage of the storm. Luckily the system slid south a spared us a full deluge, ended with a net gain of 24cm of dense base building material on the mountain.

Another system tonight will bring fresh snow to the region. An upper trough over the eastern pacific will push cooler and moist, unsettled air over the area. Morning sunny periods will give way to clouds by midday and light flurries later on.A cold front will push over the area overnight and Tuesday giving some snow to the mountains.
