More snow for the alpine

Mt. James Turner Thursday afternoon

A 1000mb low off the coast of Washington state will slide up from the southwest. We'll See a fairly significant system starting midday tomorrow bringing snow to alpine regions with a brief freezing level spike to 1500m. Monday morning it cools down with some good looking convective power flurry activity through Wednesday when another system approaches the coast.

Tonight::
Mainly cloudy with scattered flurries. Snow developing near midnight.
Freezing levels lowering to near 1000 meters, maybe to the valley..Low minus 5.Accumulations near 5 cm. Alpine winds southwesterly 15-20 km/h.

Sunday: Snowing with 10 - 20cm snow (most in coastal areas, less inland) accumulations by the end of the day. Strengthening south or southwest winds. Freezing level rising to 1100-1600m.

Monday: Precipitation easing to light with another 10 cm accumulating. Freezing level around 900-1100m. SW winds and unsettled weather suggest light snow on the west side of the range, sun & cloud on the east.

Tuesday: Clouds and light snow on the west side, sun & cloud on the east. Freezing level steady around 1100-1300m, Light southerly winds.

Wednesday: Another system...
