Mild air / WSW flow

A mild flow from the SW has set up for the week. We saw freezing levels spike yesterday to around 1500m. Warm air mixing with cooler air resulted in a mixture of wet snow and occasional rain below this. A bit of a system coming through Tuesday night. We should see some flurries before things clear out Wednesday afternoon.

Alpine Weather Forecast

Monday: very light snowfall / moderate southwest winds / freezing level at 700m

Tuesday: light snowfall becoming moderate overnight / light to moderate southwest winds / freezing level at 900m

Wednesday: light snowfall in the morning with a clearing trend developing in the afternoon / light to moderate west winds with rising freezing levels
