One more day tomorrow of hot summer before everything changes on Sunday as a cold front approaches from the Northwest bringing a lot of cold air with it.
A sharp cold front will sweep across the interior late Sunday
bringing gusty winds, heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms.
By Monday high temperatures will struggle to hit the mid to upper
teens over most regions, some ten degrees cooler than values expected
this weekend. Travelers should also be aware that with the dramatic
cooling it is possible that the higher elevation mountain passes,
such as the Coquihalla Connector and Kootenay Pass, will receive some
wet, slushy snow on Monday morning.
