50cm in 24hrs

Ok folks, a big dump of snow occurred last night. WB reports now reports 34cm, There will likely be delays getting to it, avy control, buried cars, buried ski lifts etc. Ride with a buddy and watch out for tree wells. It's going to be deep.

The storm responsible is still affecting the area this morning. We managed to stay right on the edge of the storm last night.

The frontal system has stalled over Whistler area with about 25 cm snow received so far in the valley. Additional 15 to 20 cms of snow can be expected before the snow tapers to flurries this evening.
