Clearing this afternoon

A ridge of high pressure is slowly building over the south coast mountains. This should bring clearing by afternoon, and through early next week. No new snow is expected in the long range.

At Horstman hut the temperature was -7, winds were 10-20 KPH from the S. 3 cm of new snow fell over night.

Monday: Mostly clear skies / Light southwest winds / Freezing level at 1100m with the possibility of an inversion
