Pacific frontal system on the way

Forecast

A fairly vigorous pacific low is off the coast and headed our way with gusty winds, and snow for the mountains.

Freezing levels will initially be around 1800m, and drop sharply over the weekend. We could see a few flakes of snow in the valley by Sunday. The heaviest precipitation will be Saturday morning as the low is right over us. Winds will pick up in behind the storm as the flow switches northwesterly for the first part of next week.
