Snow overnight tonight

A 998 mb low to the northwest of Vancouver island will develop overnight tonight and will weaken as it heads into Northwestern Washington state on Thursday. Rainfall amounts of up to 60 millimetres are expected for Metro Vancouver with higher precipitation values to the south. We could see up to 15-20cm in the high alpine in the next 24 hrs, freezing levels will hover around 600-1000m. Alpine winds SW 60-80 km/ph overnight tonight. There is no reliable alpine data right now as many of the WB alpine weather station's are offline. Longrange computer models into early next week shows a warming trend with a strong flow from the south, hopefully not!
