Heavy rain later today
A low pressure system just off the Washington coast will move inland tonight. Moisture-laden air circulating around the low is now moving northward from Washington and will produce locally heavy rain at times over the Lower Mainland and Southern Vancouver Island. The chance of heavy rain is greatest tonight.
Some computer models are suggesting excessive rain that may trigger short-fuse rainfall warnings across the Lower Mainland and Southern Vancouver Island later today.
