A strong 990mb low off Haida Gwaii will bring rain

Forecast
Another wet day ahead, a plume of moisture stretching towards Hawaii will continue approach the west coast this morning. A strong 990mb low off Haida Gwaii will bring rain to the south coast today and the rain will become heavy at times later this afternoon and this evening. Rainfall amounts of 50 mm are forecast for the North Shore, northern sections of West Fraser Valley and southern sections of Howe Sound. The heavy rain will taper off to a few showers by Tuesday morning as the front moves away to the south. Unfortunately the air mass is still quite warm and will send freezing levels up through the week.

These are 850mb temps at around 5500ft.  October temperatures were 6-8C above normal. Not good for the lower mountain, however the high glaciers will receive some good base to start the season and fill in some of those crevasses.
Computer models show Wednesday's storm tracking to the north, and hitting SE Alaska
Might as well go to work
