Ridge of high pressure

Forecast

Clouds moving in from the west

A ridge of high pressure will prevail through at least Saturday over the southern half of BC, leading to mainly sunny skies in the alpine and the development of extensive low stratus cloud in the valleys. A weather system to the north of us will affect the north and central coast. A weak front is forecast to brush us Saturday night bringing only a few cm's of snow. It now looks like that system will slide down more on Sunday night. For the long range not much on the radar the flow looks to be continued warm from the SW with maybe a bit of a system hitting Wednesday. Pray for snow!
