Inversion Sun and high cloud

It should be a fairly nice day with a strong temperature inversion in the alpine. It's -2C up top and -10C in the valley. Winds up top have increased this morning out of the west 30km/ph. A series of weak systems will affect the coast starting Thursday through Friday but will be mainly to the north before another ridge of high pressure builds offshore on Saturday.

Tuesday: Mainly sunny. Freezing level rising to 1400-1600m. Winds are light and variable.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Freezing level around 1800m. Winds are light from the NW.
Thursday: Increasing cloud, but staying dry. Freezing level around 1600-1800m.
