A stormy past 24 hrs up in the mountains with high winds at ridge top yesterday at times gusting to 60- 80 km/ph. -7C at Peak with winds out of the west 40-60km/ph. We picked up about 5 cm yesterday and will see accumulation above 1000m today of around 5cm also. A big change tomorrow as a big pool of arctic air to the north of us will bring clear skies and a rapid cooling trend. Wednesday morning could see lows to -15C. Towards the end of the week a warming trend as freezing levels may rise as high as 3100m. No precipitation is expected after today.
