Arctic air

Forecast


A cool day as temperatures plummeted overnight. -15C up top the peak this morning, -9C in the valley. A ridge of high pressure is building, and arctic air will stick around for a few days. A alpine inversion is forecast to build starting by Friday as the flow changes to the south west with freezing levels soaring to 3300m. Alpine high of 8C on Sunday.
