An intense Pacific Front moving up from the south will generate very strong southeast winds later today. Winds will increase to southeast 70 km/h early this afternoon over the south coast mountains at ridge top, and out on the sunshine coast. Up to 40mm of precipitation and freezing levels hovering around 2500m, the weekend should be a bit wet some showers lingering. However it should get to around 15c on Sunday. The next front is scheduled for Monday morning with more precip and high freezing levels.
