A 971mb low in the gulf of Alaska will approach the coast this evening. A large atmospheric river in the pacific is approaching the coast from the west with significant rainfall over the next 72 hrs. Rain will begin late this afternoon and continue through Wednesday. Freezing level through the event should be in the 1900m-2000m range, which means snow up really high. Rainfall totals could easily reach 100mm in the next 24hrs.
