Hoquiam Coastal Radar 8 pm Wednesday
This weeks weather will be a wild swing of both rain and arctic air. A pacific frontal system from the SW will begin approaching the coast today and intensify through Tuesday and Wednesday. A plume of tropical moisture is expected to stall over the area bringing heavy rain to near 2000m Wednesday. A large pool of arctic air will begin to colide with the stalled front bring very cold air with it. Thursday night will be very interesting as cold arctic air sweeps down the coast colliding with some very warm air. This can result in some major snowfall depending on how it all mixes together. Stayed tuned the weather models are still changing but this looks like the scenario .
