A series of pacific fronts

Forecast

It looks like the first snow to the valley overnight tonight as a fast moving cold front will hit the coast. On its heels Thursday afternoon and evening another more intense storm will impact the coast. The Thursdays storm will bring extreme snowfall and rainfall amounts which could lead to possible flooding as freezing levels will briefly spike to 1800m-1900m Friday. Storm totals could easily surpass 200mm, and probably more like 300mm wherever the main storm track hits. Latest models show the really heavy warm rain headed to the south. Significant snow accumulation is expected above the freezing level. 1-2m through the weekend.
