Continued alpine inversion

A strong alpine inversion will remain in place through the weekend. Alpine high today could hit plus 6. December is looking like it could start with a lot of snow. Weather models are showing a series of systems approaching the coast for next week with freezing levels around 1000m. Precipitation amounts are expected to be in the 150mm through next weekend.
